Amid the rolling hills near the village of Hlynsk rises Hlynsky Favar—a place where nature, history, and spirituality converge to create a unique space of tranquility and strength.
It is not merely a scenic hill offering a panoramic view of the Vorskla Valley, but a site with deep historical significance, where the lives of the ancient people of the North once thrived and the culture of the Vorskla region took shape.
A Place of Spiritual Remembrance
In the past, the Transfiguration Church (1888–1936) stood atop Favor, serving as an important spiritual center for the surrounding villages. Today, a memorial cross stands here, and the hill itself is seen as a symbol of the sacred continuity of generations.
This place periodically becomes a center for spiritual gatherings, when community members and visitors come here to pray under the open sky and experience the special atmosphere of Favor.
