Vasyl Omelianenko is a unique example of talent born out of a love for his craft. Without formal training, he managed on his own to create his own recognizable style and bring fame to Opishne ceramics far beyond Ukraine’s borders. His works are, above all, vivid zoomorphic sculptures: lions, bulls, and deer that seem to come to life in clay.
The museum preserves not only a large collection of his works but also the very space of his life: the house, the workshop, the tools, and everyday objects. Here, everything breathes creativity and allows you to feel how art was born.
